The Natural Market in Pickens features an abundance of natural, whole foods: fresh vegetables, organic marketproduce, raw milk from a local dairy, Wisconsin cheeses, free range eggs, and meat from livestock that is not fed hormones or artifical enhancers. Organic foods have been grown without the use of artifical fertilizers or pesticides providing food for your table that has not been exposed to as many chemicals.    

In season, you will find local, organic produce from our Organic Gardener, Jeff Isbell. Local peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, zuchini and other vegetables are on our shelves during the upstate growing season.  If you are concerned about eating healthier more natural foods, you will be able to find many choices for your table.

We  are proud to offer Raw Milk from M&M Dairy in Fair Play, SC.   This local upstate dairy provides fresh milk that is unpasturized and not homogenized leaving all the natural goodness and vitamins in the milk.   The milk is bottled and  delivered fresh to our store by the owners themselves.






stockbraggs cider        In additon, we offer special jellies, fruit butters and preserves from Jake and Amos a proud supplier of natural Amish style treats from Pennsylvania Dutch Country and Bragg organic Apple Cider Vinegar.

When you think of bees, your thoughts inevitably turn to honey. Honey should not just be used on special occassions, enjoy thetanks natural goodness of Bee Well Honey every day! Studies suggest that a tablespoon of local honey each day may actually help some people who suffer from nasal allergies. During a visit to the store you may be able to see the honey being bottled by our staff. Large stainless steel tanks hold Wildflower, Sourwood, Echinacea and Orange Blossom honey. This raw, unfiltered honey is bottled into 16 oz skeps, 12 oz bears, pints and quarts using an automatic bottling machine. Honey is then stored in a climate controlled room untilbottle machine it is delivered to area retailers.

Bees collect nectar from many floral sources and sometimes they will concentrate on a single species of plant during a short time frame.  This results in several varieties of honey that have a distinctive flavor such as Sourwood or Orange Blossom.  On a  visit to the store, you will be able to sample several varieties of honey and decide which sweet treat you want to take home. You may decide to purchase a jar of each !  
If you have a preference for the basic sweet taste of Wildflower honey or the distinctive Sourwood honey of our region,  you will find various sizes of each on our shelves.

Whether you are a beginner beekeeper in need of everything from a hive tool to the actual bees themselves or a seasoned beekeeper needing a few extra supplies, Bee Well has products to help meet your needs. Visit the supply section of our natural market in Pickens to find many items to enhance your beekeeping experience. Supplies are in stock year round to meet the needs of the our customers. Protective clothing (suits, hats, veils, gloves), brood and honey super bodies, frames and foundation are available for purchase in addition to basic apiary management tools such as: smokers, hive tools and medications. We offer honey extractors and other types of honey processing equipment to help you during the honey harvest season. Package bees are ordered each year.. check our Bee Farm page for more details.
