Each spring Bee Well Honey Farm offers package bees for sale to beginners and those beekeepers wanting to increase their number of hives.

Whether you are a beginner beekeeper in need of everything from a hive tool to the actual bees themselves or a seasoned beekeeper needing a few extra supplies, Bee Well has products to help meet your needs. Visit the supply section of our natural market in Pickens to find many items to enhance your beekeeping experience. Supplies are in stock year round to meet the needs of the our customers. Protective clothing (suits, hats, veils, gloves), brood and honey super bodies, frames and foundation are available for purchase in addition to basic apiary management tools such as: smokers, hive tools and medications. We offer honey extractors and other types of honey processing equipment to help you during the honey harvest season. Bee Well Honey Farm has been making beekeeping supplies available to local beekeepers for over 10 years. We are now located in Pickens (across from CVS Pharmacy).

Beekeeping is a fascinating endeavor. Beginners will benefit greatly by research on the internet and reading a book like : "1st Lessons in Beekeeping" by Keith S. DeLaplane (Dadant Publishing).
We encourage you to find and join a local beekeeping association near you. In South Carolina, you can contact:SC State Beekeepers Association for more information.
Many associations offer beginner beekeeping classes during the winter.
