The Bee Farm

Honeybees are very important to our food chain and life on earth would be much different than we know it without their contribution to pollination of our foods.  Managing over 400 hives of bees in many different yards is a full time task.  Commerical Beekeeper, Kerry Owen, founder of Bee Well Honey is constantly busy with some aspect of bee management.

Liquid feed is carried to the hives and then pumped into frame feeders inside the hive or barrels for open feeding.
Requeening each year ensures young vigorous queens for the colonies.
