Serving upstate South Carolina for over 10 years,  Bee Well is proud to offer pure raw local honey.  In our Natural Market you will find different varieites of honey available in various sizes. Our local honey choices include: Wildflower, Sourwood and Echinacea. Wildflower Honey is a blend of pollens and nectars from a Spring mix of local blooming plants.  This blend is the type of honey that many people believe is helpful for combating their spring allergies.   Sourwood Honey is produced from the nectar of the Sourwood trees blooming in the Blue Ridge Mountains along the North Carolina/South Carolina border.  A regional organic herb farm serves as the source for Echinacea Honey.  In season, we also offer Orange Blossom Honey and Tupelo Honey from Florida.  Remember beekeeping is farming and some years do not produce as much variety honey as others.

Honey is available for retail sale at our Natural Market in Pickens and at many fine stores across the Southeast.

It begins in the hive........

Managing over 700 colonies of honeybees is alot of work.  Work begins in the bee yards long before the trees and flowers begin to bloom.

Spring Package Bee Orders

Spring time is bee time.  Each year beekeepers across the United States order thousands  of packages of bees to replenish those lost during the winter or to start new colonies.  At Bee Well Honey Farm, we begin taking orders early in the year (usually January) for April delivery.  Each package contains approximately 3 pounds of Italian bees (10,000-12,000) with an Italian Queen.  Package prices vary each year due to weather conditions and availability. Packages are picked up at our Natural Market in Pickens on the appointed day.  NO BEES ARE SHIPPED.  Package must be reserved in advance as we do not normally have extras available.
